Nicholas' First Blog Entry

Today my mom is too busy packing to type a blog entry, so I get to do it for her. All day my mom has been packing and getting ready for the trip to China. I am excited about tommorrow, except we have to get up at 3:45 AM, and we have a 13 hour plane ride! It will be cool to get to see The Great Wall of China and all the other place we go. Though, most of all, it'll be fun to see my new little sister!

Welcome to our blog! We are glad you have joined us on our journey. Originally this blog was just about our adoption. The more I posted the more I wanted to post. So those that are just interested in the adoption part just have to bear with us. With 4 kids and 1 on the way there is always so much to write about including adopting ? Grace. If you are wondering why we refer to her as ? Grace, it is because we can't decide on a name. Grace will be her middle name or part of her first name. At least that is the plan at the moment. We have only had 8 months to decide and can't seem to find that name that we both love. We are hoping once we meet her it will come to us both.

Thanks for following and did I mention that we leave after 3 sleeps.

We will begin our journey in Beijing. On Sunday, August 12 we will fly to Fuzhou, Fujian. August 17 we fly to Guangzhou, Guangdong. Then on August 21 we take the train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong. Click on the map to make it bigger so you can actually read it.

Are there Ants in China?

I thought there were alot of ants in Florida. I was wrong,they are much worse in North Carolina. We have a bug service and I use Terro but they just won't go away. I can't wait to get away from them for two weeks.
