Grace- ENT
I took Grace to a follow up appointment with the ENT(Dr. Drake) today. She had done a hearing test back in November. They were really busy and behind so Dallas and I were unclear about what the test showed. We knew she had some hearing loss but wasn't sure what. I found out today that Grace has the hearing of an old person. She can't hear the high pitched sounds like a whistle or a dog yapping. Dr. Drake doesn't think it will cause any problems.

Really? Wow, that's weird. She'll probably adapt fine. Kevin has something called Dwayne's Syndrome. I think it's his left eye won't move to the left. But he's adapted so that he just turns his head to the left naturally and you rarely notice it.

It is disturbing though that they didn't get back to y'all with the results. It seems like this happens more and more with doctors as they are overworked and don't have time to follow up properly. It's scary.
