It took a year and a half but I have missed a couple days of my daily photo challenges.  I just can't seem to keep up anymore.  So from here on out I might miss a few days.

The first day of Kindergarten for these three.  I think they all had at least a good day.  Alyssa had a great day.  Lots of changes for the boys.  They will adjust and so will we.

Bittersweet. My son said goodbye to his first love today. He learned a hard lesson at 16. He earned the money to buy this car himself. We told him most likely it would be a money pit. He insisted on buying it. After 8 months he realized he could no longer sink money into it and neither could his parents. He listed it on Craigslist without telling us and sold it for $800 more than he paid for it.

As Nicholas drives himself to college for the first time to move in his first apartment my heart breaks a little. Where did the last 19 years go? Did we teach him all he needed to know? Will he be okay? Will he make good decisions? The questions go on and on but we have to let him go and pray he will soar.
