365 Project (2015)
Day 272

Zachary is saying goodbye. He found Gizmo at the pound 6 1/2 years ago after coming home from visiting Mee Mee. He loved this dog. Monday we found out he had a large rapidly growing tumor that wasn't operable. Gizmo was obviously in pain. Today he was put to sleep. Broke all our hearts, he was a crazy but good dog. It is just not the same without Gizmo.

Day 256
We went to a great program today at Duke University. It is called Duke China Care. They have a mentorship/playgroup. Grace and possibly Julia will soon be matched with a mentor. Every other week they have events and get to learn more about Chinese culture. Today they painted bowls and ate snow cones with red bean paste, fruits, and chocolate chips. All the kids had a great time!
