This morning was back to the medical building for TB checks. Thank goodness everyone in our group had negative results.
After the medicals the other two families were going to a temple. We had done that before so we opted out. Elvin, our guide here in Guangzhou, had the driver drop us off at Shaiman Island.
Last time we stayed on Shaiman Island. We love the island. It is so peaceful there. Not at all like the rest of China. We were there about 6 hours. We walked through the shops, ate at Lucy's, met several other American families, and let the kids play on the playground. They had a blast!
About 5:00 we caught a taxi home. We think the taxi driver was telling us we had too many people but we played dumb and made it back to the hotel.
Dallas went and got the girls a chicken nugget meal for dinner and the rest of us had McFlurries. I don't usually eat McFlurries but this one was exceptionally good.
Alyssa is doing great as are the girls. They have adjusted well to having a little sister. Grace's only complaint is that Alyssa is loud. Have to agree Alyssa can be quite loud. She is one happy little girl.
Zachary has been a tremendous help! He has energy when nobody else does. Thankfully Alyssa loves him and is as happy with him as she is with us. I can't imagine doing this trip without him.
