Day 106

Four years ago today a scared little girl walked into our lives in a hotel room in China. Alyssa warmed up to us quickly and continues to surprise us every day. Her zest for life is contagious. Alyssa feels deeply, plays hard, and is determined to learn everything she can.

365 Day Photo Challenge (round 2)

Day 316

I took Julia to the NCSU farm days today.  She was really excited about going.  It is geared towards younger children and doesn't take long to explore.  The best part is the free NCSU ice cream.

Day 105

Making ice cream by freezing the ingredients with liquid nitrogen.  It was the first and last time we go to this place.   Dallas and I were trying to make a healthy version and used Cashew Milk.  It was one of the worse things I have ever tasted.  Gracie got hers with regular cream and hers tasted fine.  Cool concept, nonetheless.

First time fishing and she says the last. We were on a school field trip and it was freezing on the pier. I grew up fishing with my dad, wish she would have had the same experience.
