Sunday in Guangzhou

Don't you love my creative titles?

What a fun day we had! First we had our yummy breakfast that included a waffle with peanut butter sauce on it. Yummy! Everybody in the family loves the breakfast!

Today was Safari day. We did not do this last time. It was so much fun. First we road on a train. The animals would come right up to the train. The girls loved the animals.

Next we were able to walk around. This place was huge. There were tigers, monkeys, pandas, koalas, and every other animal you could imagine. They have the only twin koalas in the world.

The girls were disappointed because they thought they were going to be able to hold a baby tiger but due to renovations they couldn't. They did get to feed the giraffes. My camera died about that time so I didn't get any good pictures.

We think Alyssa had her first ice cream there. She loved it! It looked like nutty buddy but the ice cream was purple. Grace got one and didn't really like it so Alyssa was the lucky recipient.

When we got back to the hotel we went to McDonalds. We only had a short time before picking up our laundry. I love the way they do laundry here. Unfortunately ours was a bit expensive because we had yet to do laundry.

Alyssa took a nap and Dallas and the girls headed to the pool. We walked over to the mall across the street again. We were hoping to find the children's floor. The sign says it is on the six floor. After going up many different escalators and elevators we could not find a sixth floor. The fifth floor was the highest. We finally gave up and went to the grocery store.

Another day passed in China. We are doing some fun and interesting things but we all long to be home.
