Subject: Our day
It was a hot one today. Not a good day for the Forbidden City but there we were with thousands of people. Thousands is probably an understandment. The amount of people here is unbelievable. Sorry, back to the Forbidden City. It was huge and beautiful. So much history in space. Word to the wise....go in the fall.
Call us wimps but we had to have some American food today. We had the guide take us to Hard Rock Cafe. First real meal in days. It was absolutely delicious. We treated our guide and driver, too. Our guide had never eaten American food. - don't think she liked it.
We are now sitting at the airport waiting for our flight to Fuzhou. We were surprised how nice the airport is. The boys were excited to get some Olympic merchandise.
Next post Fuzhou. Here we come, resdy or not.
Our flight leaves in 50 minutes at 3:55 pm.
So glad you were able to get Kristopher to Hard Rock & enjoy food from home (well, sort of). LOL
