We have arrived. It was a short uneventful flight. We are glad to be here. At the airport we met up with our new friends from Beijing. It was great seeing them again. Their new daughter is beautiful. Her name is Maya Grace. We are using the same agency so will be together for the rest of our time here. They are at a different hotel but it is a short walk. We couldn't see much of the island because it is dark but are ready to explore tomorrow. Our Medical exam is at 10:30 then we have the afternoon off.
I have to admit it was sad leaving Fuzhou today. Our guide and driver were so kind. I teared up saying goodbye to Katherine. We hope to keep in touch through email. Also, it is the closest to Grace's home that we were able to get. We are taking her away from everything she has ever known. I really hope we can bring her back when she is a teenager. There is so much for her to see and learn.
Time for bed! I will post more tomorrow. It is great to be on the homestretch. We have truly enjoyed our time here but we do miss home.
